    Hi,

    After a plugin update I need to save again the settings in “Advanced Card Processing” for the payment fields to show up in checkout.

    This seems to happen since 2.0.5 but maybe before? I can’t tell.

    Thanks for your report.

    For me, it doesn’t look like saving the settings is necessary. But seemingly, the plugin settings page (or the WC Payments tab) may need to be navigated once after a plugin update before the Advanced Card Processing gateway appears.

    This behavior wasn’t introduced in 2.0.5 (it also seems to happen when updating from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4), but certainly, it is not expected behavior, and our developers will dive into this deeper.
    Can you please check if visiting the settings page (without saving them) results in the gateway loading for you?

    It looks like this issue was introduced in version 2.0.4. So it happens when updating/downgrading to 2.0.4 or any newer version (incl. 2.0.5 & 2.1.0).

    The problem can seemingly be resolved by visiting any of the PayPal Payments settings pages or the Payments tab in the WooCommerce settings. It should not be needed to perform any save action.

    But the team is investigating the issue and aims to resolve it for the following update. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your report.

    This issue with the Advanced Card Processing gateway disappearing post-update has been fixed in the upcoming 2.2.0 release.

    So I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved.
