Advanced Excerpt. Custom Excerpt?

    The documentation for this plug in says you can have a custom excerpt. Where would you write a custom excerpt for a post? There is no meta box for entering a custom excerpt that I can see.

    I’m using the Genesis framework with a child theme.
    TIA for any help.

    There is no meta box for entering a custom excerpt that I can see.

    this might be hidden, due to the settings which you can access by clicking the ‘screen options’ tab near the top right of the ‘edit post’ page in admin.

    Wow! I learn something new about WP every day!! 🙂 Thank you alchymyth. I always thought the screen options related only to the Dashboard; never knew there might be other options on a different page.

    That did the trick.
