Advanced Filter only allows multiple selections?

    Does the advanced filter not allow a single selection at a time? I’m using multiple inline category blocks, and right now the filter allows users to select multiple categories to display at the same time. Is there no way to make the Advanced Post Filter only select a single category at a time when using them inline? I know adding a drop down would essentially do this, however that would not match the aesthetic I’m after. The previous filter under depreciated settings does this perfectly, is this feature really missing in the advanced post filter?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out. You’re correct — the advanced inline filter supports selecting multiple categories, and double-clicking will unselect a category. For multiple selections, you can also choose between the “AND” and “OR” conditions.

    I understand that in some cases, a single selection might be preferable. That’s why I’ve passed your feedback along to our development team, and they’ll definitely review it for future improvements.
