Advanced Insecure Content Scanner not available

    Good morning everyone,

    I’d like to report that I’ve tried several times today to scan one of my client’s websites for insecure/mixed content. I clicked Start the scan and the ‘SCANNING’ button appeared correctly, but the usual preview of the scanned site’s homepage isn’t appearing. I waited a few minutes and, indeed, I get no results, only the ‘SCAN NOW’ button being reactivated. Are there any issues with this feature offered by the ‘WP Encryption’ plugin? Furthermore if I try to scan SSL for ‘Active SSL Info’ I receveive correcty this info: ‘SSL scan is in progess, Please check back in 5-10 minutes (Testing SSL 3.0)‘ on page, I wait until half than hour but the process scan still continue.     @eddy976 You can do SSL scan directly on https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/. WP Encryption uses scan result from same API. Regarding mixed content scanner, it may fail in case of larger sites or firewall restrictions. We recommend you try different browser once.

    Good morning and thank you for your prompt reply. However, I must point out that the websites being scanned have never presented me with the problem related to the analysis of mixed/insecure content, and I have not added any other content of any kind to the websites, nor have I installed any firewall in the meantime. It seems really strange to me.

    Hi @eddy976

    It’s not possible to figure out the exact cause as we will not have any access to your server. Deeper investigation is possible only in premium version. Please open your web page, right click > inspect and check Console tab to see if there are any Mixed Content issues reported. Otherwise, your site don’t have any mixed content issues.
