Hello @mooer
Thank you for reaching out again, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. I appreciate the detailed information you’ve provided regarding the issues.
Regarding Issue #1 , since you previously resolved this with our assistance in October 2024, since you mentioned that rolling back Essential Blocks to v5.2.3 resolved the issue, it’s possible that a change in a later update is affecting the interaction. I’ll need to investigate further to determine if there’s a conflict with the latest version.
For Issue #2 (Spectra image gallery lightbox being misplaced within the tabs), it seems like the behavior changed between plugin versions. Since rolling back Essential Blocks resolved the issue in earlier versions, this may indicate a compatibility issue introduced in recent updates.
To move forward, I will review the current version of your site and attempt to replicate the issues. In the meantime, could you confirm:
- If you are using any custom CSS or JavaScript related to the Tabs?
- If the same issues persist with a default theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty-Four) and only the necessary plugins active?
I’ll review the test page you provided and follow up shortly with my findings. Thank you for your patience!
Thank you

No need to apologize. You usually give fast and excellent support, so I was just worried there was something wrong with my ticket as I did not hear back from you this time.
1. There are no custom CSS or JavaScript on the page or any blocks, other than the autoinstalled CSS code of the Tabs block
eb_selector {
/*position: relative;*/
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
eb_selector {
/*display: block;*/
}
}
2. I tried activating the Twenty-Twenty-Five theme and disabled all plugins except Essential blocks, Spectra, and Image Map Pro, but both issues persisted.
Hello @mooer
Thank you for confirming the details and for your patience. I’ve shared this information with our team and will provide an update as soon as we have more insights into the issue.
Since both problems persist even with a default theme and minimal plugins, this does seem related to changes in the recent versions of Essential Blocks. I’ll investigate further to determine the cause and whether a fix or a workaround is possible in the meantime.
I truly appreciate your understanding, especially while our team is on holiday. I’ll follow up as soon as I have more details.
Best regards,
Hi @mooer
I am writing to update you regarding the #issue 2. Our development team has been working on fixing the issue, and I am pleased to inform you that the problem has been resolved in the dev version of the plugin.
Here is the dev version: https://d.pr/f/tJFWxC
You can check out this reference video on how to upload the dev version and replace it with the previous one: https://d.pr/XpCgsS
And regarding your issue #1, please use this custom CSS to resolve it.
.eb-tab-wrapper.active .wp-block-image-map-pro-image-map-pro {
display: block;
}
.eb-tab-wrapper.inactive .wp-block-image-map-pro-image-map-pro {
display: none;
}
Let me know how it goes.
Thank you
