Advice/Help with using WordPress as CMS
-
Hi everyone…
I’ve been trying to get my head around WordPress as a CMS – I *have* searched the discussions, but to be honest, I get lost very quickly. I hope no-one minds me posting up my question specific to my needs…
Consider me clueless for the moment!OK, I want to use WordPress as a CMS for a free music reviews website.
I have designed and built my html frame and I want the reviews to sit within an Iframe on my website.
The flow works like this:Click on ‘Reviews’
This presents two options: ‘Singles’ and ‘Albums & E.P.s’When you click on either of those two options, you are presented with the last 5 entries for each section. Above this, you can select to browse by ‘Artist’, ‘Title’, ‘Label’ and ‘Year’.
If you choose this option, you are presented with the results alphabetically. You then click on the one-line of title text (ie. ‘DJ Shadow – ‘Endtroducing…’ – Mo-Wax Records – 1995′, which takes you to the full review. To see what I mean visually, please see the following:

I’ve installed WordPress and it’s working. I can see all the admin stuff that allows me to ‘build’ my site.Any help – and consider me a total amateur here! – would be VERY much appreciated.
If anyone wants to build it for me, I’d be happy to work out a monetary payment. Thanks in advance,
Chris
