(autoptimize aggregates & minifies JS & CSS. if the JS that is aggregated introduces adware, then there’s nothing AO can do about that. if anything, this must be what is happening)

For anyone reading this; I personally guarantee Autoptimize does not add adware. Does not. Will not. Ever.
The first person who can prove that the official version (on ww.wp.xz.cn or on github, can’t vouch for any non-official stuff that might be out there) does insert adware, will get €500 transferred to his/ her bank-account.
I’ve tried contacting alefelc for more info, but got no response.

The plugin author speak with me by email and clarified that there no adware. I will be in doubt and try it again in multiple site.

Autoptimize in no way shape or form “adds adware in the code without the user’s knowledge; [generates] bad display the web, [or] [worsens] SEO”.
We have used this plugin on hundreds of projects and never, not once, have we experienced anything even remotely like this.
Frank is tiresly dedicated to this plugin and it makes me a bit nauseous to see a review like this so I felt compelled to comment.

I love this plugin, it works great for us and would recommend it to anyone – look at it in operation at http://www.brandedbiker.co.uk – you wont see any adware..just good, short and well optimised code.
