Affiliate registration custom fields

Hello,

Had a question regarding affiliate registration

When a new affiliate applies, the system does not send the email once we approve them.

They must login to their account, and accept TOS there in order to access their account dashboard.

Took me a while to understand that issue until I made an account. There is no way in the backend to add a field such as “username” or “password”.

So unless the approved applicant clicks on “lost password”, follows wordpress link, logs in, he won’t access his dashboard

Am I missing something here? or must applicants first create an account and then apply to become an affiliate?
