Hi @feta1999
is it enough to just tick Affirm in the payment options and it will work 100%?
Yes, there are not contracts etc with Affirm. Everything goes through your Stripe account.
Keep in mind that Affirm works in the United States and Canada. If your Stripe account is registered in the US, Affirm will work with store currency USD. If you’re a Canadian business, the store currency must be CAD for Affirm to work.
Kind Regards,
Hi,
Oh, I understand. My business is from Hungary, but I don’t sell my products in Hungary through the webshop, I sell my products in the EU and America.
In my webshop, prices are shown in EUR only. So, if I understand correctly, in order for Affirm to work, I would need some kind of multi currency solution for the products. So that I can display the prices in USD, and in CAD if I want to sell in America and Canada with Affirm.
In this case, would I only be able to use Klarna? As the prices are currently in EUR in the webshop.
If I’d like to use Klarna Payments I have to contract with Klarna or does it work the same as Affirm?
Regards,
Tamas

Hi @feta1999
So, if I understand correctly, in order for Affirm to work, I would need some kind of multi currency solution for the products.
Not quite. Affirm is available to US and CA registered Stripe accounts. So in your case, since your Stripe account is not registered in the US or CA you cannot offer Affirm.
In this case, would I only be able to use Klarna?
Yes, that appears to be the case.
If I’d like to use Klarna Payments I have to contract with Klarna or does it work the same as Affirm?
It works the same as Affirm. Everything flows through your Stripe account so you don’t need an account or contract with Klarna directly.
Kind Regards
