I just installed the Plugin and when I click on any of the options, like MailChimp Settings, Checkboxes or Forms, the page in the middle of the dashboard is blank. I tried removing and re-installing and no difference. I have the latest update of WordPress. I can provide a login if necessary for troubleshooting.

    Hi dudeman,

Strange. OK, let’s take a look. Could you create me an account for [email protected]? Most likely there’s a fatal error happening so setting WP_DEBUG to true or installing a plugin like Blackbox Debug Bar would help too.

Blackbox plugin installed and account created. Details should have been received via email. Let me know if you need anything further. I also noticed there was an update for the mailchimp plugin this morning and I updated that, but no difference. Thanks ahead of time for your assistance!

Just sent you an email with some of my findings. Strange bug but we’ll get it. : )

Thanks Danny, I enabled WP_DEBUG and responded back to your email. Come up with anything else?

Hi dudeman, are you Chris? In that case, sorry I haven’t got to looking into it yet. It’s such an edge case (in that I received no other support requests from people experiencing the same) that it’s easy to forget for me, sorry.

I will do so before this weekend.

Yes, that is me. Ok thanks, let me know if you need anything else from my side as I’d be glad to help out.

    Hi Chris,

Closing this as per the email I just sent you, it’s a server issue.

I just wanted to post a quick update in case anyone else comes across this issue. In my case it turned out to be that I had PHP 5.2 which didn’t support curl requests via ssl.

By providing detailed information from Danny to support and via SEVERAL interactions with web hosting support and an escalation to management, I finally got to someone that was knowledgeable and they upgraded me to PHP 5.3 with curl ssl support and bam, plugin works!

Incidentally, that also fixed issues with 2 other plugins that I had, which I didn’t realize were related issues.

Danny worked very diligently with me, even though he knew all along that it was not his plugin that was the issue. Thanks Danny!!

No worries Chris, glad I could help and even more glad you got it all taken care of. 🙂

Hope the plugin is working great so far, would really appreciate it if you could take a quick minute to leave a review on the plugin.

    Danny
