Hello, we experienced a wp php problem and our site was shut down, only the error message was shown and wp admin log in was impossible therfore we had contacted hosting provider to load a back up from a day before this issue occurred. After the site was backed up and ran again, at the bottom of the pages is this error suddenly showing:

Fatal error: Uncaught wfWAFStorageFileException: Unable to save temporary file for atomic writing. in /data/2/7/279c208b-aeae-4334-b833-0ae00ccbde36/fyzioyoga.sk/web/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php:34 Stack trace: #0 /data/2/7/279c208b-aeae-4334-b833-0ae00ccbde36/fyzioyoga.sk/web/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php(658): wfWAFStorageFile::atomicFilePutContents(‘/data/2/7/279c2…’, ‘<?php exit(‘Acc…’) #1 [internal function]: wfWAFStorageFile->saveConfig(‘livewaf’) #2 {main} thrown in /data/2/7/279c208b-aeae-4334-b833-0ae00ccbde36/fyzioyoga.sk/web/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php on line 34

we nor the supported have manipulated with the plugin or anything else, further to add the plug in wasnt installed by me but by older developer and when checking diagnostics field “connecting back to this site” is showing:

Connecting back to this site via IPv6 (not required; failure to connect may not be an issue on some sites)

wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to fyzioyoga.sk port 443 after 3060 ms: No route to host

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi @userforinfo,

Thanks for reaching out. The error you’re seeing can occur if Wordfence is having trouble writing to the wp-content/wflogs folder. This is usually solved by deleting/renaming the wp-content/wflogs folder. You should be able to delete the wflogs folder or its contents entirely and Wordfence should repopulate it within 30 minutes.

Regarding your connectivity warning, your site isn’t using an IPv6 address. You can ignore this message, as failing to connect back to the site over IPv6 when the server doesn’t support IPv6 is completely normal.

    Thanks,
    Margaret

il n’y a pas de wp-content/wflogs. wordfence n’est plus sur le site

    Hi @userforinfo,

Thanks for following up. wflogs is a folder located inside the wp-content folder of your website. How to access and rename it depends on your hosting environment. If you have a File Manager, you can locate the folder there. Your hosting support can also assist with this.

@bhipfrance, Are you referring to @userforinfo’s site or are you having similar issues? If you’re having similar issues, please open a new topic and we can assist you there. We try to keep topics separated as they’re rarely the exact same problem.

    Thanks,
    Margaret
