    Sure, of course you safely deactive and remove it.
    (but why would you do that in the first place?)

    Because plugins affect performance and site load time, and the job has been done!

    btw cageehv you are not the developer i guess… if possible i would like an answer from him… but then again maybe you have tested it?

    Yup, this is the developer himself (nickname cageehv) 😉

    Deactivating it will be enough for your purpose…
    When decativated it won’t have any impact on the performance of your site.
