The problem is that after payment the order status is set to “processing”, although the order status should be “completed” and the client should see the product key after payment, but this does not happen.

Enabling the checkbox “Automatically completes orders after successful payments.” does not give any results

I already wrote about this problem, but the problem was never solved. At the moment I am using plugin version 1.4.5, since all newer versions do not work correctly. Although I think this is strange, considering that the idea of creating such a plugin is brilliant.

  • I understand that the problem is with the order status not being set to “completed” after payment, and the product key not being displayed to the client.

As you mentioned, you are currently using plugin version 1.4.5 because the newer versions do not work correctly.

It’s important to note that updates are often released to address bugs and improve functionality, so it’s recommended to use the latest version of the plugin whenever possible.

However, since you are the first person to encounter this issue and we are unable to replicate it from our end, it may be helpful to gather more information to determine the root cause from your end.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Verify Payment Integration: Ensure that the payment gateway integration is properly configured and functioning correctly. Double-check the API keys or credentials associated with the payment gateway.

Check Plugin Settings: Review the plugin settings and ensure that the “Automatically completes orders after successful payments” checkbox is enabled. If it has already been enabled and the issue persists, try disabling and re-enabling it to see if that resolves the problem.

Debug Mode: Enable the debug mode in the plugin settings if available. This will provide additional error information and help identify where the issue is occurring. Check the debug logs for any relevant error messages.

Theme and Plugin Compatibility: Test if the issue persists when using a default theme or disabling other plugins. Conflicts with themes or conflicting plugins could be causing the problem.

Log Files: Check the server logs and error logs for any related errors or warnings.

Can I purchase the pro version of the plugin and use version 1.4.5?

    Hello,

Since WC Serial Numbers is now on the latest version 1.6.6, using the older version 1.4.5 with the pro version of the plugin won’t be compatible and will not work properly.

Besides, we won’t recommend using the outdated v1.4.5 cause there will be a risk of security vulnerabilities, and compatibility issues. Moreover, you’ll be missing out on features most likely.

If you plan on using an outdated version of our plugin, then you may not receive support from us in future. Also using an older version of our plugin could leave your WooCommerce store vulnerable to emerging threats or incompatibilities.

I would suggest you to update our plugin to the latest version first.

If you have any more queries regarding our Pro plugin, please visit pluginever.com for more relevant information. You may also contact us via [email protected] if you have any issues.

    Thanks.
