After switching to Secure (HTTPS) can no longer edit slideshows
-
I have just added SSL to my site and noticed that the slideshows I previously created are loading via http. No problem I thought, I’ll go edit those slideshows to load via https, but unfortunately the “Add Slide as Image” fails to work. I see the following in the Console:
media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'limitExceeded' of undefined at n.initialize (media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1) at n.initialize (media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1) at n.e.View (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:28) at n.constructor (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:31) at n.constructor (media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1) at n [as constructor] (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:28) at n [as constructor] (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:28) at new n (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:28) at Object.wp.media (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,underscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,moxiejs,plupload,wp-pluploa&load[]=d,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable&ver=4.9.4:32) at acx_slideshow_upload_images_template_loader (admin.php?page=Acurax-Slideshow-Add-Images&name=ASPDemoSecure:137)I thought perhaps this was due to adding [SSL Secure Content Fixer](https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/ssl-insecure-content-fixer), but the problem persists even after disabling that plugin.
By the way I notice THIS error upon loading – so it’s likely the source of the problem:
media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined at Object.<anonymous> (media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1) at b (media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1) at media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1 at media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1
