I have just added SSL to my site and noticed that the slideshows I previously created are loading via http. No problem I thought, I’ll go edit those slideshows to load via https, but unfortunately the “Add Slide as Image” fails to work. I see the following in the Console:

media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'limitExceeded' of undefined
        at n.initialize (media-views.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1)

I thought perhaps this was due to adding [SSL Secure Content Fixer](https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/ssl-insecure-content-fixer), but the problem persists even after disabling that plugin.

By the way I notice THIS error upon loading – so it’s likely the source of the problem:

media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined
        at Object.<anonymous> (media-audiovideo.min.js?ver=4.9.4:1)

  • Steven,

I think I’m in the same boat but didn’t realize “why” the slideshows disappeared. Hopefully you or someone will post a solution as I’d love to find a simple way to re-include previously posted slideshows.

My solution was to switch to Tribulant Slideshow and recreate the slideshows I needed.

The good news is that Tribulant has more features, but it’s not necessarily easier to use.
