After update RSS feed not working

    The site was recently updated – core and plugins – and now for some reason the RSS feed is not working, http://townecenterfitness.com/?page_id=13&rss=1 is the feed.

    Before the update was made I had customized the rss.php file to display a scope of dates – duplicated the rss.php file and placed it in new template file as directed and it was working.

    Now that the site has been updated the – I did the same thing – duplicated the new rss.php file and put it in the same template file – but when I check the feed in a feed reader there is no data.

    I have a separate question about how to customize the scope again….but need to get the feed to work first!

    does it work if you try to resave permalinks under WP Settings > Permalinks eg. try custom permalink ?

    Does it work if you remove your customized template and use the default one instead?

    I deleted the customized template, but still don’t see anything in the RSS reader and the page we use to print the events calendar (we have been using this method for a couple years now and it was working before the update) says:

    Unable to parse the feed: Either source specified is invalid or feed is malformed.

    Update – The hosting company was just able to get this to work – they added the shortcode for the feed on the Events page.
