Google Chrome version 134.0.6998.88 (official build) (64-bit)
Firefox 136.0.1 (64-bit)
In both browsers neither in normal nor in incognito mode. All ad or script blockers deactivated in both browsers. Only in the “WEB” browser (Gnome Project) does the cookie banner appear, but it stays there no matter which button you press (Accept | Reject | Settings). This is already the second attempt to get Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent to work, as Google’s reCAPTCHA v3 was a seemingly insurmountable problem for this plugin – although this is probably a very widespread constellation. It is more than frustrating.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
Hello and thanks for the feedback. In which configuration do you see the cookie banner? I am not currently using a caching tool. The location is Germany. Info on the side: In the browser ‘WEB’ (Gnome project) the banner appears on the first page called up and disappears after confirmation. However, the banner reappears on all subsequently accessed pages but can then no longer be clicked away. The behaviour in the ‘WEB’ browser is not relevant for the function but may be informative for the analysis.
I tried both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, my screenshot was from Mozilla Firefox. Unfortunately I don’t know the WEB browser but it seems to me (checking online) it’s a minor one, so in this case it could happen to have this kind of issues.
Have you tried to open your website from another device to see if you still can’t see the banner? I checked also from mobile and I always see the banner without any issue.
The compliance banner does not appear for some colleagues with other Internet service providers either. Neither in Firefox, Chrome nor in Iron. Neither in normal mode nor in incongnito mode. The banner was only displayed in Edge. The banner is also not displayed in Firefox’s safe debug mode. So the Compliance plugin simply seems too insecure to me.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your detailed feedback regarding the compliance banner display.
After reviewing your message and conducting internal tests, we’ve confirmed that the banner is functioning correctly across the same browsers you mentioned, including Firefox, Chrome, and Iron, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/3JdIcKlmlVQG.
Given that we are able to reproduce the expected behavior in those environments, the issue you’re encountering may be related to some client-side factors. Possible causes include:
Network configuration issues (especially if certain content delivery networks or scripts are being blocked by your ISP or firewall settings)
Browser extensions or ad blockers that may be interfering with third-party scripts or banners (including those used for compliance)
Privacy settings or browser security modes that prevent certain scripts from running, even in incognito or safe mode
You have previously accepted the banner and the consent status is saved causing the fact that the banner is not re-appearing;
We completely understand your concerns regarding plugin reliability, and we’re continuously working to ensure our tools are both secure and compatible across a wide range of environment but in this case we can see that the banner is showing up correctly.
