    Age Gate is having trouble contacting the WordPress REST API. Is something blocking it?

    Host is not blocking nor is WordFence

    Hi @anthonyblando101,

    There’s been a few of these today, I suspect it’s a false flag so I’m going to remove the message while looking into it. Was it working on the front end ok?

    Hey Phil Yeah it looks like there was a major update to 3.0 It will pop but then give and error when you click on yes or no.

    Hi @anthonyblando101,

    What PHP version are you running on the site at the moment? If it’s less that 7.4 that could be where the issues stems from.

    Hi @anthonyblando101,

    That’s odd then. Things should work in 8.1 bar 1 deprecation warning that is on my to fix list. I have just put up a release with a load of fixes. Earlier I was getting 500 errors when trying to to an API call (in browser or in JS console with fetch).

    If age gate is active, try to update to the latest version and see if that solves things.
