weird, now the cache comment appears in the source (i didn’t clear the cache), just browsed again from a non logged in browser ; there seems to be some kind of challenge between autoptimize and cache ???
hi marties;
Also while trying autoptimize i had to deactivate your cache then setup autoptimize as clearing cache was non effective, then reactivate the cache.
Do you mean clearing AO cache was non-effective or clearing Simple Cache?

most (but not all) page caches won’t cache for logged in users, which could explain not seeing the HTML comment when being logged in.
hope this helps,
frank (ao dev)
thanks for the quick answer.

i was using another browser which was not logged in (firefox for developpment and chrome for testing) and there wasn’t you comment tag in the source.

well, I’m autoptimize’s developer, so ……….. 😉
hum didn’t notice, i guess while using a lot autoptimize since couple of years i’ll then use both a lot 😉
many thanks
I’ve used SC and AO together on a few websites and all working fine for me so far. I clear SO cache then clear AO cache and have no problems.
