Ajax script broken for “Edit” Link

From the two Ajax links, “More options” still works fine. Depending on the theme though, “Edit” either throws a blank overlay (with WordPress themes Twenty Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen) or opens in a “regular” html page—with full functionality but of course no option to go back to the post. Something’s breaking the Ajax script.
