Akismet API key – Turkey blocks wp.com

I have been trying to register at wordpress.com for an API key. Unfortunately the .com site has been completely blocked by the “Great Firewall of Turkey” (since Aug 2007).

I have tried using a few proxy services but to no avail. Any suggestions as to how I could register to get the key?
