Not sure if this should be posted here or on the Akismet forum, but here goes.

I’ve recently altered the contact form on a site I look after, to filter for spam. Everything works except that no GDPR notice appears even though I’ve altered the Akismet settings to display the notice.

If I should post to the Akismet forum, please just let me know.

If so, the change is for WordPress comment forms, not for contact forms by plugins. If you want to put the privacy notice, simply add this text into your Form tab content:

This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. <a href="https://akismet.com/privacy/" target="_blank">Learn how your comment data is processed</a>.
