    Hi,

sorry to have to ask this, but I can’t see where you search the support forum for simple questions like this!!! At least it will be easy to answer!

I want to create a new gallery and have it appear on it’s own page that I can then add to the main index (so that it’s directly accessible outside the standard gallery pages and their associated wppa menu). What is the shortcode to do that please! What other settings might I need to tweak?

    cheers, Bruce

Just make a page for it and add it to your menu.
Assuming your album id is 4711:

If you want show the thumbnails, put this shortcode on the page:

    [wppa type="thumbs" album="4711"][/wppa]

If you want to show a slodeshow:

    [wppa type="slide" album="4711"][/wppa]

    or, for the cover:

    [wppa type="cover" album="4711"][/wppa]

If you do not want to have the album showing up in the ‘generic’ album display, set its parent to —separate—

    Hi,

thanks for that. Only minor problem is that when I enter any of them I get an error message. For eg. for the last one…

[WPPA+ dbg msg: Invalid type: “cover” in wppa shortcode.]

    cheersm Bruce
