    I just tested aligning a paragraph to the right while using WordPress 3.9.1 and Front-end Editor 2.3.1, and it worked in my test.

    If it’s still not working for you, consider temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme to see if the problem happens for you when using that theme. This would rule out an issue with alignment being caused by your theme.
