If you change the post url (also known as post slug or post permalink), the like resets. Because the facebook like system is url-based.
I think your wife may have modified the post url.

For example, past: http://example.com/post_name and now http://example.com/date/post_name

my wife didn’t changed any post url/title/permalink.
This post has over 100 likes yesterday and now 0 🙁

She changed some categories but i don’t think that this is a problem? I do it all the time with my posts and the count is still there.
