I am running a localhost WP site. Everything was fine and suddenly all plugins were disabled. The original one time message I got for every plugin was The plugin.(fill in the name_ has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.” I have read “how to fix-secure-connections – and my Apache HTTP server is enabled. No firewall
issues. Extension php_curl is enabled. I have modified the Appache httpd-ssl file to indicate that localhost is the server.I am stll getting the “Installation failed: Could not create directory.” Also tried changing the Theme. The plugin folder is there with all the plugins.

Don’t know what else to try.
