OK. I’ve never came across such issue and I don’t even know how it is possible.

I have a site on my localhost with your plugin installed and set up. When I migrate the local version of the site to staging/production (literally copy all of the files, export and import the database and update URLs using WP-CLI’s search-replace command), all of the settings for this plugin are set to default.

This never happened to me with any plugin, ever. What could be the issue?

PS: Amazing plugin otherwise, thank you.

    Hi,

Please recheck your installation process, this error is not related to our plugin and we can not help you check this problem.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Everything is fine on my side. As I said, I am using WP-CLI for site migration and globally I’ve came across maybe 150 different plugins, and every one got migrated just fine with all settings.

Worst case scenario, in some plugins the URLs don’t get updated after running wp search-replace command and they have to be fixed manually, but that’s about it.

Have you tried migrating a site using WP-CLI with your plugin installed? Did it work? Did the settings move successfully? I know that for example Yoast SEO had some problems with their database structure and the tables weren’t correctly recognized by WP-CLI, so they had to release a fix for that.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Sorry, we haven’t ever tried WP-CLI for site migration before. You can try to use this plugin for site migration: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/duplicator/

You probably wanted to post a link to Duplicator, but sadly, that is a HUGE stepback in my development workflow.

Anyway, I would be glad if you could look into it sometime in the future. Until then I’ll have to adjust it manually when needed.

Thanks anyway, have a good day!

    Best regards
