Hi again Albert,
Why don’t you disable the COD for shipping zone: Rest of the world ( that’s a default WooCommerce shipping zone containing every country except the ones you defined in other shipping zones )
It’s a one click on our settings: Disable on specific shipping zones -> Select Rest of the world.
This way the cod will be available only for countries you defined in your shipping zones.
Thanks Stratos!
That’s not so easy. For example I have 3 shipping zones with 4 countries in every zone. And in every zone there is 1 country where COD is allowed. How would you handle this?
Albert
Why don’t you disable cod on shipping zone ‘Rest of the World’ and disable the cod specifically on those 3 countries that belongs to the shipping zone but you don’t want to have the cod enabled?
3 countries * 3 shipping zones = 9 selections.
We will consider to add a ‘switch’ from ‘disable’ to ‘enable’ for every existing restriction field on the next update.
Stratos, I don’t understand this 🙁 . Could you explain this please in another way?
Albert
Ok lets break it down.
1) Disable ‘Rest of the World’ on field ‘Disable on specific shipping zones’, so only the countries included in your defined shipping zones will have the cod available.
2) Disable the countries ( field ‘Disable on specific countries’ ) that belongs to your shipping zones ( so they have the cod available, since you disabled only the ‘rest of the world’ ) but you don’t want to them to have the cod available.
e.g.
You have a shipping zone called United Kingdom which have England, Scotland and Ireland as zone regions.
You want to have the cod available only for England.
With step 1 ( disabling rest of the world ), only England, Scotland and Ireland will have the cod available.
With step 2 ( disable on specific countries: ‘Scotland, Ireland’ ), you leave only England with cod method available.
Albert, have you succeeded your goal with the above setup?
Thanks Stratos!
I mentioned in my previous post only those 3 shipping zones in which countries with COD exist. But I have a total of 9 shipping zones with 40 countries. So it would be hard to follow your suggestion.
Albert
Thanks for the reply Albert.
We will update the plugin later today to support both enable or disable restrictions.
Thanks for the feedback!

Stratos, that’s great! 🙂 Thanks a lot!!
Albert
Hi Albert,
We’ve just issued an update (v1.3), please apply it.
Then go to settings as usual and change the ‘Select the restriction mode’ field from ‘exclude mode’ to ‘include mode’.
Now you can define which countries you want to have the cod gateway available. (Exactly the opposite).
Please give me feedback if everything worked as it should.

Stratos, it works great!! 🙂
