    Hi There,

I have 2 tables on my website http://irishjewellerynetwork.ie and would like to allow 2 separate users to edit them exclusively.

    For example:
    I would like

John to be able to edit Table 1 and not Table 2
    and
Denis to be able to edit Table 2 and not Table 1.

I have set up new user roles for each user and have allowed them standard subscriber privileges plus edit tablepress tables,

Is it possible to allw editing of 1 table but not another

    Thanks a Million in Advance
    John 🙂

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

While the underlying technical infrastructure (of roles and capabilities) does make this possible (using plugin filter hooks), this is not possible with the default user interface.
I’m however working on a Extension for TablePress that will make this possible. As I’m planning to offer this as a Premium Extension, it’s however not available for free download yet. Therefore, if you are interested in hearing more about this, please send me an email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”), so that we can discuss details.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I too am interested in setting up permissions that would allow a user coming to the table page to edit table data. have you completed a plugin for that yet?

    Thanks

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble as well as for the late reply. I’ve been on holidays and therefore couldn’t reply earlier.

No, sorry, the plugin is not yet fully finished 🙁 But please get in touch via email (as mentioned above) if you are interested in this.

    Regards,
    Tobias
