Allow for multi-directory permalink

My glossary page lives at http://www.mysite.com/knowledge-center/glossary/. So I wanted to set up the permalink option to use “knowledge-center/glossary” so that the term would show up at http://www.mysite.com/knowledge-center/glossary/myterm.

However, it doesn’t seem like this is allowed. Am I right about that? Is there a workaround? Or is this something that could be added to the plugin?
