    Is it possible to setup ‘pay what you want’ option (0.00) but also to allow users to input 0 so the item would be free?

    The problem is with PayPal – if the total amount is $0, PayPal won’t even open correctly.

    I have tried to do something similar (basically, offer a coupon, which could drop the price to $0). What is needed in the plugin is for it to detect a $0 price, and simply send the email without trying to go to PayPal at all.

    If you enter 0.00, PayPal should allow the user to enter their own amount.

    PayPal has been doing testing on their site for a while now and I have seen this both work and also fail.
