Allow reservations on date until approved

We would like to keep the possibility to reserve open for days until a reservation is approved.
This way visitor #2 can still pick dates visitor #1 already picked. But as soon as we approve #1’s reservation visitor #2 cannot pick those dates anymore.

Just allowing unlimited reservations on a date is not working as this completely disables the availability feedback.

Is this possible?
