Allow SEMrush Access
-
A client has hired an SEO company that uses SEMrush to analyze the site. WP Security is blocking SEMrush. It’s not the host, robots, no-index, .htaccess.
We need to be able to whitelist the following IPs in the plugin:
46.229.173.68
46.229.173.67
46.229.173.66We don’t believe there is a whitelist option in the plugin. We saw some advice to turn off the entire firewall and then start enabling one item at a time, but this seems counter intuitive, even dangerous.
1. Wouldn’t that create more vulnerability instead of disabling one firewall feature at a time?
3. What is your best guess at that setting, the Fake Googlebot one? That info would be helpful because we don’t have an SEMrush account and have to relay back and forth between the SEO company for each option we try.
Thanks! Surely the answer to this will help others.
