    Entering the forum I was dismayed to see that the first post (stuck to the top) “Top Smart Slider issues and how to fix them” received only 5 posts, the last was a year and 5 months old which didn’t receive an answer… That told me that the user base for this plugin is very small and support weak!

    As for the other posts, hiding the answers from the rest of the users is self defeating as waiting hours or even days for answers is unacceptable to me.

    Your competition made the sale with me because their support system is better and even the version included with many themes offers much more for free. Since price is the same, you lost this sale.

    If I should ever see Smart Slider X Pro priced at $10 or less I may consider trying it for one of my other domains.

    Very disappointing that the Second, from the top, sticky post is 2 years, 4 months old.

    Stagnation is not a good thing for a plugin imho

    Hi @donotignoreus,
    moderators or the system automatically closes old posts. To be honest, those problems are still valid as those are the main issues.

    We do not hide solutions from others. Most of the problems which appear in the support forum is very site specific or the user do not reach us in email or user does not confirm the solution in our support system. If we do not get confirm from the user we do not want to share anything as it can give you wrong direction with your issue.

    We can unstick that topic and create a new sticky topic with the same information. Would that make any difference? I do not think that moderators would be happy.

    Revolution Slider and other Envato sliders can be found in several paid themes, but you should know that you do not get updates without the theme and you can not access to the sample sliders and other addons.     Also I’m not sure if you know, but ww.wp.xz.cn gives you plugin stats where you can see the active install growth: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/smart-slider-3/advanced/. Smart Slider 3’s growth is very good compared to other sliders so we are far away from stagnation and I hope we keep it that way.

    I hope you will try Smart Slider 3 in the future as there are a lot of people who like it and or support usually really fast. 🙂
