Already retina without plugin?

    Hello,

    I have uploaded a picture with 1200×1200 to the media gallery and then pasted it into a wordpress page and selected the 600×600 picture.
    When looking at it, it is already the 1200 version of it (the original file) and not the 600×600 as I selected in WordPress.

    Strange thing is, that this happens automatically without the Retina 2x plugin.

    Unfortunately, I can’t test it on a non retina device if wordpress would show up the 600×600 version.
