Hi Max,
So if I understand correctly, you are having alt text set in your image details section via admin section. The alt text should show if your image doesn’t load. Does it show ?
Also out of cautiously what are you exactly trying to do ? May be that may clear a few more things here.
Thanks.
Hi there,
thanks for your reply …. but i can tell you that there nothing special … i mean in my media page all my image has ALT text … but in front-end when u see the site there are some image without ALT description .. look please here:http://www.etichette-filo-cartellino.it
if u select the logo on the left of the page and make an “inspect element” to see the source you can see that alt code is alt=”” … but in my media page i have write: in italian sorry: “etichette bottonificio logo normale”
mhmhmhhm??
I have seen theme demo working well there.
Means u have missing some thing please can u add hear logo code.
strange … the name “logo” is put in php page … i don’t think is from media library ..
look here too:
http://cad-users.com
http://www.laresidenza.eu
http://italieni.in here u can see logo but here my alt text: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9j4xj4o0adjorub/screen-alt.pngthere is something no good … 🙂

Hi Max,
Again, can you please tell me what is your end goal exactly? May be we can find workarounds.
What is it that you are wanting to do with ALT text?
~Tanveer
hi there,
so my problem is that in some image i can’t see the ALT text on an image … and this is a little problem with google search engine … it’s so strange that if in my media library i wrote the ALT TEXT …. in the page i can’t see it…!!! is incredible… what can i say …🙁
The ALT text of an image is only seen if the image doesn’t load for some reason like if internet connection is not available.
So you mean it is a problem was search engine if the ALT text is not present?
the problem is not about load image … the image is loading without problem …
the problem when u see my site and the you select one image and make inspect element in the source you don’t see the ALT text …
🙁
Ok, looks strange to me too. I am wondering if we are still addressing the underlying problem.
Your image loads and everything is hunky dory. None of your customers should actually bother looking to see if ALT text is provided.
So I ask again, what is it that is the real problem we are trying to solve here? Sorry, but at this point I am just trying to see our available options here.
Not sure if this is worth a shot but why not : https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/image-pro-wordpress-image-media-management-and-resizing-done-right/
hi there tsure
yes is strange … my problem is not about my customer if looks the source of my page … but google do it!!!! you know… so if in source page i don’t have a ALT text google don’t see it …
and i can’t understand why wordpress don’t put out the alt text if i wrote in media library!!!🙁
PS: about that plugin … i’ll try it .. but if there is something that force the ALT text will be great!!!!
Yes, I agree with you regarding your Google point and now I understand what is actually bothering you.
Are you using any theme? Sometimes the theme may also be interfering. May be contacting the theme author and letting him too know the issue may help.
Do give that plugin a try and let me know if that works out.

hi there Tanveer! thanks that u understand …
i’m using BRIDGE theme .. yes i speak with the guy but nothing to solve … 🙁
later i’ll try the plugin ….

hi there Tanveer … i checked the file header.php of my theme .. and i saw this code check the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/p9vc7n0zekxgvue/header-file.png
what do you think? i can put something else at ALT code? what i need to put there the alt txt that arrive from media library?
i hope that u understand.. for example i found this attribute: ($logo_attr)
maybe ALT=”$logo_attr” hmm no?
Hi Max,
I saw the image you sent me. It may be worth a shot to try using $logo_attr there but make sure you keep backup of the original code and let me know.
Is this theme on commercial support ? The author of the theme has just given up?
~Tanveer
hi tan,
so what do u think i can put that code inside “… ” ??? or there is another special code?yes bridge has a support but in some case .. they can’t do nothing because the code of the theme is so … and change can be difficult …
