Alt image tag not displaying in code

    I have entered alt image text on the actual image I am using for the banner on the front page. When I use the inspector or run SEO checks, it says the alt image tag is missing. I have tried removing the image and adding it again, but it’s still not there. Thanks for any help you can provide.
