@capdiy – The image “alt” tag is the image’s “Alt & Title” field … as to the “meta” reference I am not certain what you are looking at, can you share a link to a screen capture or more details about your concern.

in NextGEN Gallery – manage galleries, under each image the menu of action choices:
View | Meta | Edit thumb | Rotate | Publish | Recover | Delete
when I click on ‘Meta’ second from left, I get the following:
Meta Data
Tag Value
Image Width 900
Image Height 600
Alt & Title Text / Description Tags are all filled in but do not show up as above. I wonder if I can correct this in the “editor” and if so where?

@capdiy – Have you tried importing the meta data from under the Bulk Actions for the gallery?

tried that but no result. Still only image size, no tag and no value?
