ALTCHA not rendered

Hi Daniel,
I’m quite an experienced user. When i set up altcha for CF7 to display “captcha” and send a message without checking the altcha box it is autocompleted. That’s normal I suppose? The message is being sent – but the AJAX spinner below the form gives no feedback, just keeps on spinning.

hi daniel,
checked for your hint and many more i could imagine being the cause. none fixed the error. so i disabled all my 29 plugins. and reenabled them 1:1.
https://de.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/smtp-mail/ is the cause. As soon as this one is active the spinner keeps on spinning endlessly.
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-mail-smtp-mailer/ this one works with altcha. Maybe add this to the docs?
