I am not clear on how to change the font size that gets implemented when enlarged. Should I move one of your .css to my theme and modify it? Do I check the “Use alternate font resizing stylesheet” box?
    Thanks.

There are two modes of font resizing available by default, and those will be toggled based on the ‘alternate font resizing stylesheet’ option. However, it’s totally possible that neither will work, especially if there are a lot of mixed font size units in your site.

In which case, I’d recommend using custom font size styles. You can just add those in the customizer, e.g. Customize > Additional CSS, or you can replace the stylesheet entirely via a filter.
