Alternate posts once a week

Hello

First of all thank you for this plugin! It’s really great i like it.

However i need to add a function on it to be able to alternate posts only once per week

Actually i display 4 random posts and they switch each time i reload the page.

How could i do that? My php skill are not enaugh to manipulate wp cron or transients.
