Solo entrepreneur here, tech friendly, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the use of code snippets vs more plugins, etc.

FluentSnippets came on top of my search, because it is free, has a clean interface, and often better capabilities than alternatives.

It does not not suggest you code / help you code, but helps you insert PHP, CSS, JS, etc. in your website 1) without the need of a child theme and 2) in separate files, i.e. not affecting the database.

It won’t break your website, btw, you can easily edit or deactivate code. Only if the code you put is not good could your website be affected. But even some trial and error is an easy process due to the easy activate / deactive feature.

It is neat, effective, practical. Really thankful these solutions are available at no cost. Makes me a Fluent-family fan!
