However, the issue does not show in the sidebar, but in the post body.
If you would scroll down this very page, you would clearly see what I’m talking about.
When I deactivate the plugin, the error is gone.
I really want to keep working with your plugin.

We took a closer look at the issue and noticed the image is not loading correctly from Amazon’s end and hence displaying the alt tag.
Here’s the screencast of the same.
Can you check the content of the tag and see if the last image link is working, if not please open a ticket with us so that we can check the same and help you accordingly.

The issue is not with images loading from Amazon.
We host all images on our server.
Furthermore, ALL posts featuring a book cover with an Amazon link (many hundreds on our site) have the exact same issue.
BTW your screencast does not show.
I’ll give it another shot and wait for any suggestions you might have.
Again, I would hate to abandon your plugin, but I may not have another choice.
