Switching editors strips code – if you can’t stick with the text editor, maybe this plugin would work.

Can I switch editors code strip w/o the plugin?
Is it odd that html code from a huge site like amazon doesnt work? At least when its image and text?
Or am I better off trying a plugin?

I am stuck at work until late tonight (on a boat) so I’m replying from my phone and won’t be able to do it until late tonight, if you wouldn’t mind taking a look when you get time?
It isn’t in the post now. When I tried to do the image & link and went to visual, it was just the border of it. When I get home to the PC I will screen shot what it looks like and show the code.

Having an issue with screenshot right now- not sure if this code shows the poblem?
This is normal..external code is not inserted into the editor by design.
This would occur with above, a Youtube Video, or other code from external site.
Post a test post and review if the code comes through on live post. It should (if clean code).
As opposed to visual? If I am adding it to a previous post just insert the code and update and it should look correct on the site?

I have an Amazon affiliate site. I was having problems posting code for text and image together, so I started posting them separately. That worked fine till now. Now I can’t get any images from Amazon to post to my website: http://www.howtoemporium.com. Can anyone give me an idea what I should do to make this work?
