Amazon links don’t work

    One thing that annoys me about this plugin is that it recognizes all Amazon links as broken. Amazon returns HTTP 503 for every request, probably because the Checker does not send a typical User-Agent Header etc. It would be nice if you could add such options or change the current configuration.

    Hi @nicoweio,

    Broken Link Checker support and maintenance was taken over by WPMU DEV Team and we released new version yesterday.
    Can you check if the Amazon links are properly recognized now and if still experience issues could you open a new support ticket and let us know a bit more about your setup, how the links are added to your site for example, and we’ll look into it further?

    I can confirm that Amazon links are incorrectly treated as “503 Service Unavailable”. An example link is https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00O887V9I/?tag=wohnglueck-macht-gluecklich-21

    I trust you are doing well!

    The requests to check the Amazon links are blocked by Amazon’s firewall and it has already been reported to our developers. We are working on a new API solution that should provide a fix for it.
