Amazon Locales

    I’m a little confused about the different locales in the Amazon program. Do I need to register with each locale offered through Amazon in order to receive commissions from other countries, or does Amazon Link Engine automatically convert my main US Amazon affiliate code to other locales?

    Amazon currently has 11 locales…

    Hey Johnny,

    Unfortunately, Amazon’s affiliate programs are country specific, so you will have to sign up with each in order to monetize from the international stores.

    Once you’ve signed up and have an Associates Tag per country, you can then add each tag to your GeoRiot account so we know which tag goes to which country.

    Then, once you sync your GeoRiot account to your Amazon Link Engine plugin, we will automatically append the correct Amazon Associates tag to the correct country when a user clicks your link, ensuring they get to the place they’re most likely to purchase and you get credit for those sales.
