When I open the Amazon s3 configuration it has “Missing access key!” under S3 Bucket.

Even when I enter the correct S3 Access Keys it still says “Missing access key!”

When I click “Save and Test” button a popup says “Error in Bucket Configurations”

I have created new s3 keys and still the same issue.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I’m checking on the latest version and not able to replicate the issue: https://shottr.cc/s/11Vh/SCR-20250702-h1t.png.

Can you double-check the overall configuration? If the issue persists, please send us the error showing up (hiding sensitive data) in the browser console while performing the integration.

I look forward to your reply.

    Hi Support,

Thank you for the reply. Before I enter the keys it has the WordPress login the the key and secret key fields. When I enter the Amazon s3 permission keys they don’t seem to update as still show Missing Access Key.

I am using PHP 8.4 and BackWPup Version 5.2.3

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please check if any errors appear in your browser console when you try to connect? Here’s how you can check:

    1. Open the page where you’re trying to connect.
    2. Right-click anywhere and select “Inspect” or press Ctrl+Shift+I.
    3. Go to the “Console” tab.
    4. Try connecting again and see if any errors show up in red.

If you see any errors, please take a screenshot and send it over(hiding sensitive information) so we can check further.

    Hi @nuganics,

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

We’ve tested the Amazon S3 integration on PHP 8.4 and are not able to replicate the issue on our end. It appears this might be specific to your environment, and we’d like to debug it further for you.

Please reach out to us directly using our contact form so we can investigate this in more detail and get this working for you.

Looking forward to helping you resolve this.

    Best regards,
