    Hi Christian,

Yep! We can handle short links in the same way we do full product URLs. I also took a look at your site and noticed a lot of iTunes links. You may be interested in checking out our iTunes Link Engine that does the same thing as the ALE, but for iTunes links. 🙂

Hope that helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you very much. Just what I was hoping to hear!

Regarding iTunes, the PHG system is paying me for purchases from various countries already. What would setting up the iTunes Link Engine do for me there? Better reports? Or, am I missing income with the native PHG set-up?

    Thanks again–

    Hey Christian,

The affiliate program side is definitely taken care of through PHG, but the user experience/”localization” piece still isn’t. iTunes is 155 country-specific storefronts, so localizing those links helps international consumers purchase items in their local currency and language, instead of ending up at the US store where they may not be able to purchase.

So – from your perspective, you’re absolutely right. The monetization is handled by PHG, but you may see that your sales increase if you send users to the best place for them to purchase.

Again, just a thought in case you’re interested. 🙂
