    I deleted the plugin.
I see hundreds of postmeta fields of meta_key “amazonS3_cache”.
Are these belonging to WP Media Offload?
If so, maybe they should get removed on deletion (?).

Yes, those ‘amazonS3_cache’ postmeta records belong to WP Offload Media, and are safe to delete.

WP Offload Media does not delete anything when deactivated or deleted as quite often people want to keep the data for when the plugin is re-enabled.

Also, trying to delete potentially millions of rows during the short time frame allowed when the plugin is being deactivated or deleted could cause issues on many servers. And often the plugin is deactivated/removed in a way that would not trigger an action anyway, e.g. CI/CD, composer etc.

Instead, please follow our uninstall guide if you’re wishing to completely uninstall WP Offload Media and all its data.
