The Stripe plugin is not responsible for declines as those are the result of the API response from Stripe. Looking at the Stripe logs, the most recent declines occurred on 6/21/25 and were all for the same person.
Here is an example of the response from Stripe:
The bank did not return any further details with this decline.
I also see another response from Stripe:
The card returned a decline code of card_not_supported. The card does not support this type of purchase. The customer may need to contact their card issuer to make sure their card can be used to make this type of purchase. For a generic decline like this, it’s best to have the customer contact their bank to see if there are any restrictions on their account.
