‘amp-addthis’ search console error

    Hi guys,

    My site is suddenly showing the following error:

    “The extension ‘amp-addthis’ was found on this page but is unused. Please remove this extension. AMP_TAG_PROBLEM
    line 7, column 6262”

    I have tested all pages but it is weird that the ONLY PAGE THAT DOES NOT SHOW that error is the MAIN PAGE https://wowingles.com.co/amp/.

    The amp version of my site was free of errors and I consider that it probably started showing them after one of your latest releases.

    I thank you in advance for any guidance/help in resolving this issue.

    We have just pushed an update that will fix the error with amp-addthis.
    Please update the plugin to the latest version and it should fix the issue.

    lezuber – Can you share the URL?

    Also, try to turn off Addthis option from the Social sharing and see if that fixes the issue?

    Hi Ahmed,
    turning of the Addthis option solved the issue. Thank you! However of course, this should not be necessary usually, right?
